Soraya Bish BSc (Hons) Ost. BSc (Hons) Hum.Phys. PG Dip. Animal Ost.
Soraya Bish qualified as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000. Following this she undertook a Post-Graduate Diploma in Animal Osteopathy under Stuart McGregor in Oxfordshire and qualified in 2002. Since this time Soraya has become owner of Saffron Walden Osteopathic Clinic and built up a busy equine and canine practice alongside her human clinic in Essex. Her work with animals, mostly with horses, means Soraya travels throughout the South of England and East Anglia to patients undertaking various disciplines (from riding club horses and ponies through to professional dressage horses and racehorses).
Soraya has a wealth of knowledge with horses. Having started riding at the age of 8, she has competed in County Level and Championship Shows in Working Hunter Pony and Show Hunters starting in junior classes and working up to a senior level. Soraya grew up on her family thoroughbred stud in Dorset, through which she has developed a keen interest in both National Hunt and Flat racing as well as thoroughbred breeding. Soraya is keen to help the rehabilitation of racehorses following their career on the racetrack and enable them to excel in other disciplines.
When she isn’t busy with work, Soraya enjoys attending race meetings both in England and Ireland and going on long country or seaside walks with her Labrador Retriever Lilly.
